Thank you for your interest in sponsoring our clothing swap events! 🙏🏽💜
- We produce clothing swap events on the westside of LA approximately once a month.
- Our nonprofit initiative is called Community Threads.
- Your $600 sponsorship donation is tax deductible. The nonprofit umbrella is called Earth Rights Institute. It’s a 501(c)(3) with EIN #30-0029920.
- We keep clothes out of landfills while having fun and building community. And there are always A LOT of clothes left at the end of each event.
- The extra clothes are then set up in Venice like a “store” and it’s all free, so the underprivileged/unhoused community can “shop” for clothes in an enjoyable and dignified way.
- And we also donate clothes to the “Career Closet” at Santa Monica College. Professional clothes that the students can wear to job interviews, etc.
- We are open to exploring all kinds of sponsorships / donations / partnerships.
- For brand sponsors… we invite over 4,500 people to each event, so we can provide quite a bit of exposure for your brand.
- The demographic is both men and women, mostly ages 25 – 60. Mostly wellness focused folks… interested in learning & growing & evolving… mostly on the westside.
- We will introduce you and share info about your brand in an email blast to 4K people. Then I will share info during the check-in circle during the event. Usually about 40-50 people attend. And then I will share about you a third time in a follow-up email blast to attendees.
- We will set up a large area at the swap to share info about your brand, and you can sample and/or sell products during the event. We can provide a table and easy up canopy if you’d like.
- Here you can see some photos and a video of a sponsor in action at one of our events.
- Your logo will appear on our website under “Past Sponsors.”
