Our Community

Community Threads hosts monthly clothing swaps on the Westside of Los Angeles, bringing together a growing community of more than 4,500 people who care about sustainability, wellness, and community connection.

Our events offer a fun and welcoming way for people to refresh their wardrobes, meet new people, and participate in a more sustainable approach to fashion.

Our Impact

Our mission extends beyond the swap itself. By keeping clothing in circulation, we help reduce textile waste and give great clothing a longer life.

After our events, remaining clothing is shared with unhoused members of our community, and professional attire is donated to the Santa Monica College Career Closet to help students prepare for interviews and employment opportunities.
